The IBM InfoSphere Information Server for Data Integration includes several application and data integration products that enable organizations to cleanse, transform, deliver and monitor data.
The system, which is part of IBM's InfoSphere Information Server platform, enables organizations to integrate data from disparate systems, including database management systems, big data structures, enterprise resource planning and CRM systems, as well as on-premises and cloud sources. - Enhanced scalability and performance and the ability to use a Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) query engine that runs natively on Hadoop
- Improved interactivity with the Hadoop Distributed File System
- Additional prebuilt connectors to a variety of enterprise applications
- The ability to deploy integration processes with an extract, load and transform architecture using push-down optimization.
