Converting words to numbers in DB2, and vice versa

I would like to ask, is there a built in function in DB2 that will convert a date into its word equivalent? How about numbers?

I would like to ask, is there a built in function in DB2 that will convert a date into its word equivalent? (e.g. 2003-04-10 and output April 10, 2003) How about numbers? (e.g. 21 - output "twenty one")
There is no built-in function in DB2 to convert dates or numbers into their English equivalent. Of course, you can always write your own user-defined DISTINCT function to do this - but it would probably take a significant amount of programming.
