QUESTION POSED ON: 15 April 2003
Can tablebase tables be accessed from the stored procedure running on the mainframe?

>
EXPERT RESPONSE

Mainframe DB2 offers stored procedure support and, of course, you can access DB2 tables from these stored procedures. However, it seems like you are asking about something called Tablebase, which I have never heard of. From a quick search on the web I found a product called Tablebase offered by a company called Responsive Database Services. Of course, there were many other references to Tablebase returned by Google, so this might not be the Tablebase you are asking about.

If this is what you are asking about then I would recommend that you contact Responsive Database Services to ask your question. Nothing in the IBM DB2 manuals mentions Tablebase and from what little information I could find about it on the web I could not answer your question.
